kibera

kibera, located in the capital of kenya, nairobi, belongs to the largest slums in the world. an estimated one million people are living here. the name “kibera” is derived from “kibra”, meaning “jungle”. I visited kibera in 2006 together with some friends, who ran a project there with youth-groups.
